Interesting, Victorian period jewellery like this silver bar brooch can still be found if you look hard enough.
This lovely brooch probably commemorates either Queen Victoria's silver jubillee in 1862 or her golden jubillee in 1887, as there seems to be some guilding to the crown it is more likely for the golden jubillee. The letters VR signify 'Victoria Regina'. Length 45mm
