Description

This antique, Victorian brooch is delightful, set with two of the most vibrant mauve, or violet,  brilliant cut, amethyst colour, gemstones, and four original, possibly natural ( not tested), small pearls.   The gemstones and pearls are set in what tests as high carat yellow gold, so could be 15ct, which is consistent with this type of Victorian jewellery, or possibly 18ct at best.    Dimensions are: 45mm x 10mm.  All in tact, checked, and found to be in great condition, so would recommend as a delightful, collectable antique item with no hesitation.
